Thank You for a Successful 2017 POWER Gala!
The 2017 POWER Gala was a huge success! It was a great night to join together and celebrate the fathers in our community. The fathers we work with face numerous challenges on a daily basis and it was important to put some time aside to acknowledge their work to improve their lives and the lives of their families. We were especially proud of Javon Taylor, the recipient of the Douglas Lomax Legacy Award. Dr. Michael Yogman, our keynote speaker and Fatherhood Pioneer Award recipient, delivered a power message that will definitely stick with us. None of it would have been possible without our generous donors. We hope you had an amazing night and hope to see you again next year!
Book Release on March 18 - Pre-Father Care: Prenatal Care for Fathers
We’re excited to announce that on March 18, we’ll be celebrating the release of Pre-Father Care: Prenatal Care for Fathers, a book authored by our CEO and founder, Charles Daniels, Jr.
Pre-Father Care: Prenatal Care for Fathers features many stories from the fathers that we’ve worked with over the past few years. Those stories, as well as the personal experiences of Charles, served as the inspiration for the book.

THIS DAD CARES Campaign
The transformation that takes men back into the lives of their children often requires a change in the toxic narrratives around them. Fathers’ Uplift believes in confronting these narratives head on. That’s what led to the birth of our first T-Shirt Campaign, “THIS DAD CARES.” Today’s society is often telling us that men do not care: about family, or emotions, or about many of the things that truly matter. That's why it is a powerful statement that as men, and particularly as fathers, we do care, and that we are proud of it.
