Jacquelyn Timmons is a compassionate advocate for mental health and well-being, dedicated to supporting individuals navigating challenges related to mental health and addiction. Currently participating in Fathers’ UpLift’s United States Therapist Recruitment Fellowship, Jacquelyn is inspired by her strong desire to help others and her commitment to empowering families through therapy and social work services. Jacquelyn learned about Fathers’ UpLift through an email from the Dean of her department, where she was immediately drawn to the organization’s mission and values. Her research on the organization solidified her interest, aligning with her passion for creating equitable opportunities for those facing adversity. Jacquelyn believes in leveling the playing field for underserved communities, as she has witnessed firsthand how systemic barriers can obstruct access to essential resources.
