Week 1: MeriFUL – Embracing Grace & Second Chance
In a world that too often dismisses the wounded, the forgotten, and the striving, mercy is the guiding light that invites us to look closer, listen harder, and understand deeper. For many of the fathers who walk through our doors, mercy is not simply a second chance it’s a lifeline to rebuild, to forgive themselves, and to make amends with their families. We see it every day: fathers who have stumbled, who have been written off, but who come to Fathers’ UpLift looking for that next chapter. Their journey reminds us that mercy has a power all its own, to heal, to uplift, and to bring families back together. This week, we spotlight fathers who, with humility and grace, are committed to transforming their lives and creating lasting connections with their children.
Week 2: HopeFUL – The Power of Possibility
Hope is as essential to the human spirit as air and water, particularly for communities that carry the weight of history, trauma, and marginalization. This week, we spotlight Leanne Prendergast, a USTR Fellow, who brings hope to young girls navigating the challenges of mental health, bullying, and self-esteem. Leanne’s work transcends borders and demographics, teaching us that, no matter who we are, hope has the power to push us forward. Her journey with Fathers’ UpLift reveals the strength of connection, as she brings fresh perspectives to the men and fathers we serve. Hope here is not merely an ideal; it’s a practice a way of showing up for others and, ultimately, for oneself.
Week 3: CareFUL – The Art of Listening and Nurturing
Care is the beating heart of Fathers’ UpLift. It’s in every session, every group, and every interaction, rooted in our commitment to serve each father as a unique individual with his own story and needs. Through programs like the Dad Village, we create spaces where fathers feel safe, supported, and seen where their voices matter. This week is about slowing down, about showing fathers that their well-being, their growth, and their bonds with their children are worth the time and attention we pour into them. The stories we’ll share remind us that care is both an art and a responsibility, one that is deeply woven into the community we are building.
Week 4: GrateFUL – Giving Back, Together
As we approach Giving Tuesday, we’ll wrap up November by celebrating the power of gratitude and community. We’re GrateFUL for every father who has trusted us with their story, every supporter who has fueled our mission, and every coach and volunteer who has walked with us along the way. This week, we’ll share the voices of fathers, coaches, and supporters who are GrateFUL for the change we’re creating together. It’s a chance to reflect, to say thank you, and to recognize the many hands that make our work possible.
Join Us on This Journey
November is more than a month on the calendar; it’s an opportunity to come together around shared values and collective impact. This month, we’re inviting you to experience Fathers’ UpLift’s work firsthand, to see what happens when mercy, hope, care, and gratitude take center stage. Through our stories, our community events, and our commitment to fathers and families, we are building a foundation for transformation that reaches far beyond our organization and touches lives in ways that are profound, lasting, and real.
We’re looking forward to sharing these stories with you and hope that they inspire, uplift, and remind us all of the power of grace, of possibility, of attentive care, and of deep gratitude. Join us this month in celebrating the fathers who show up, the families who rebuild, and the supporters who make it all possible. Thank you for being part of this journey.
