In 2024, Danica became a part of Fathers’ Uplift, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role on the Hand2Paw Foundation’s board of directors. This foundation is dedicated to assisting young individuals transitioning out of the foster care system. Presently, she holds the position of Senior Manager in the Giving & Social Impact team at Genentech, leveraging her expertise to make a significant difference in the community.

Danica’s professional journey is underpinned by a solid academic foundation, having earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania following her undergraduate studies at Amherst College. Beyond her academic credentials, she is a licensed social worker, a testament to her dedication to creating positive social change.

Though Danica now calls Philadelphia, PA, her home, her roots are deeply planted in Atlanta, GA, where she originates from. Her transition from the South to her current role reflects a journey marked by a commitment to social welfare and community service.
