Responsibilities: James researches, writes, and edits grant proposals. He also assists the development team with donor engagement and contributes to creating content for the organization’s website.
Role: As a Junior Development Associate, James plays a crucial role in securing funding and enhancing the visibility of Fathers’ UpLift through his contributions to grant proposals and donor engagement.
Staff Narrative:
Born and raised in Barkhamsted, Connecticut, James Nelson is currently a Junior at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Accounting and Finance. His past work experience includes private contracting, customer service, and telemarketing. James joined Fathers’ UpLift as an intern in September 2022 and transitioned to a full-time team member in 2023.
