Manny Cabral is a passionate advocate for mental health, currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Social Work at Regis College. With a focus on trauma-informed care, he is dedicated to supporting children, families, and underserved communities through compassionate and culturally responsive therapy.
Growing up biracial in Boston, Manny’s perspective was shaped by his experiences as a METCO student, commuting long hours to access quality education in Belmont, MA. These formative years instilled in him a deep understanding of resilience, perseverance, and the importance of strong support systems—values that continue to drive his work today.
With over a decade of experience in community-centered roles, Manny has served as a sports instructor, an after-school program leader, and a social worker at the Department of Children and Families. His professional journey has reinforced his passion for addressing the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations, and he is committed to bridging gaps in mental health care through advocacy, education, and direct service.
Manny’s holistic approach blends his expertise in social work and sports to create meaningful connections and lasting impact. As he advances in his studies, he remains dedicated to empowering individuals through growth and healing, striving to be a transformative force for positive change in the communities he serves.
