Oluwatosin Folarin

Oluwatosin Folarin is a dedicated mental health professional with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Austin Peay State University, Tennessee. Originally from Nigeria, Oluwatosin brings a unique and diverse perspective to her work in supporting youth and families in need.
During her time as a family specialist intern with Youth Villages and as a child therapist at the Cece Yara Foundation, Oluwatosin utilized evidence-based practices and interventions to enhance adaptive behaviors and promote positive change. She worked closely with youth and their families, providing the necessary support and tools to navigate challenges and improve their well-being.
Oluwatosin has extensive experience working with youth who have issues such as runaway behavior, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and non-suicidal self-injury. Through her compassionate and client-centered approach, she provided psychosocial support, psychoeducation, and skills-building activities to these individuals and their families. Oluwatosin understands the importance of creating a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their emotions and develop effective coping mechanisms.
With her commitment to evidence-based practices, Oluwatosin stays up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic approaches in the field of mental health. She believes in the power of collaboration and seeks to foster strong working relationships with other professionals to provide the highest quality of care to her clients.
