Staff Narrative:

Tamur Cajoux is originally from Queens, NY, and currently resides in Plainfield, NJ. He attended Lehman College for his undergraduate studies, where he earned a degree in accounting. Tamur furthered his education at Rutgers Business School, obtaining a master’s degree in accounting with a focus on nonprofit and governmental accounting.

Before joining Fathers’ Uplift, Tamur built a robust career in finance. He began as an auditor in the private equity and hedge fund sectors, which provided him with a strong foundation in financial analysis and compliance. He then transitioned to financial management roles in various governmental and nonprofit organizations, including the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and two large charter school networks. These experiences equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of financial operations in complex organizational structures.

One of Tamur’s notable career accomplishments includes helping to create a nonprofit entity, a testament to his dedication to making a positive impact in the community. His expertise in accounting and financial management, combined with his passion for nonprofit work, led him to Fathers’ UpLift.
